In 1995 Bohlke International Airways, originally founded in 1959 as an air charter company on St. Croix, opened a full-service FBO at the St. Thomas airport, the first of its kind.

Bohlke International Airways currently has a staff of 26 employees and in 2003 was voted the #1 FBO in the Caribbean by Pro Pilot Magazine's Pilot Survey.
