Maho Bay Camps, Harmony Studios,
Estate Concordia and the Concordia
Eco-Tents are all built on the
concept "creature comforts
for all creatures". Built with
site-sensitive techniques that preserve,
protect, and even enhance the fragile
eco-system of the Virgin Island
of St. John these sister resorts
are world reknowned successful examples
of ecotourism destinations. [Work

Each of these four sister
resort facilities - Maho Bay
Camps, Estate Concordia Studios
and Concordia Eco-tents -
in the Maho Bay family on
St. John has its own comfort
level, and range from basic
to quite luxurious.
Maho
Bay Camps: These
roomy tent-cottages are
nearly hidden by lush
foliage providing privacy.
Cabins are set up with
living and sleeping areas,
a private deck, electric
outlets, lights and fans
and all essential living
conveniences, from towels
and sheets to cooking/eating
utensils and coolers,
are provided.
Harmony
Studios caters
to people who want very
comfortable, private accommodations
with appropriate sensitivity
to this diverse tropical
environment. Harmony Studios
provide more creature
comforts than the Maho
Bay Camps including larger
rooms and private bathrooms.
You can choose between
the Bedroom Studios and
the Living Room Studios
Concordia
Eco-Tents: These
Eco-Tents are found on
the southeastern side
of St. John, set on the
hillside overlooking Salt
Pond and Rams Head where
you can view both the
Atlantic and the Caribbean
Sea in one glance. This
dramatically set facility
is more remote and provides
more creature comforts
and conveniences than
the Maho Bay Camps Tent-cottages.
Each unit features private
toilets, showers, solar
energy, and more elaborate
kitchen facilities.
Estate
Concordia: The
Concordia Estate consists
of nine spacious dwellings
overlooking Salt Pond
and Rams Head on the more
secluded southeastern
shore of St. John. The
Concordia Studios feature
a freshwater, hillside
swimming pool, large open-air
rooms and fully equipped
kitchens. You can choose
between a full or partial
ocean view studio and
a full ocean view loft
duplex.

Bay Campground Restaurant
and Beach Cafe:
The outdoor restaurant
pavilion serves an
a la carte breakfast from
7:30 am to 9:30 am and
then dinner from 5:30
pm until 7:30 pm. A variety
of foods for every taste,
including vegetarian,
are prepared in a most
healthful and delicious
manner. These reasonably
priced meals include iced
tea and a self-serve salad.
Children's evening meals
are offered a a reduced
price.

- Between 11 am and 4 pm the
Beach Cafe, just steps
from the beach, offers
tasty deli sandwiches,
hot dogs, beverages and
snacks.
Weekly Happenings at Maho
Bay Camps include island
nature tours, scuba and
snorkeling trips, sailing,
kayaking, massage, live
musical events, movies,
yoga and glass blowing demos
and classes.
The
Maho Bay Art Center features
a Glass Studio, Clay Studio
and Gallery/Craft Center.
Local and visiting artists
conduct a variety of mosaic,
painting, silkscreen and
craft classes for Children,
Families and Adults.
Cinnamon
Bay Campgrounds is
situated within the Virgin
Islands National Park. Accommodations
include cottages, tents & baresites

Weekly Activities at Cinnamon
Bay Campground include
Anaberg cultural demonstrations,
evening videos and lectures
examining the island's plant,
animals, marine life and
traditions. Also guided
hikes, day trips to the
more remote beaches, snorkeling,
and day cruises that circumnavigate
St. John and visit nearby
British Virgin Islands.

Bordeaux Mountain, at
Lameshur Bay on the remote
southeast shore of St.
John and is within the
boundaries of the Virgin
Islands National Park
VIERS welcomes anyone interested
in expanding their knowledge and
awareness about the surrounding
environment. A unique center of
learning, VIERS is a remote and
rustic camp that can accommodate
up to 48 overnight guests. The station
consists of 18 buildings, including
12 guest rooms in six cabins, efficiency
cabins, staff cabins, classroom,
library, office/store, restrooms,
showers, and a dining hall with
kitchen. Their kitchen staff provides
three meals a day in the dining
hall for overnight guestsand all
visitors, young and old, share in
dishwashing and housekeeping responsibilities.
At VIERS, you are "in nature",
a part of the ecosystem... and just
minutes from being able to hike
to a mountain top or swim in the
Caribbean sea. [Work
